In no particular order: Amendment №1 to the plans to begin procuring labor to complete Jacket (Job; I’m going to start saying job.) Job 412–789 was introduced to the public record on April 4th, 2020. It stands to reason that work began on the production of Notice 1444 and Envelope 194 (Rev. 4–2020) less than one week after the CARES Act 2020 was signed into law. It moves quickly; not surprising. It’s a printing contract. The IRS has that data. How many people need a Direct Deposit letter? X = # of Direct Deposits. X = # of Notice 1444s. If Notice 1444 also applies to mailed EIP checks, then X also = # of mail recipients. Either way, the USPS is the ground game. 75 Million Notice 1444s, +/- 25% over or under the projected need from each of the contractors and subcontractors.

  • **Stupid question: Did the United States Postal Service carry all this mail?***
  • **Stupider question, is there a way (without revealing PII) to find out what occupational staff person wrote Notice 1444? Clerk in some office…? or Contracted?**

TBC…
